Rune stones: messages of love,hate,war,friendship,death etc ?

Or just something to kill time making?

It depends on the runes. There are several versions and each one has a different meaning.

I have viewed the Rune stones that are located in the Minnesota, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Maine.

I am only familiar with the stones that are located in the United States and I think these were markers that were left to show others the way when they came to the United States.

I believe that they tell a story of the people who visited these places left markers of their visits.

I also believe they left the names of those who had visited these places.

I know that there is much contrivoersey in the US about who carved the stones and there means having looked at them I truly belive that the Vikings were here before others and they left there mark for the world to see

Aliens there mate aliens came and carved their symbols to confuse the world and they would have only the Indians were there first and killed the lot of them.

Some are blessings. Some are lands-takings memorializations. More are local historical markers.

different symbols for differnt meanings...and there are alot of different traditions out there!
