There are several things I enjoy on the Discovery Channel. One thing is on right now, called "How It's Made." It is a casual documentary on how various things are manufactured, usually in assembly plants, large-scale bakeries, breweries, and such. Another program I like on Discovery Channel is Survivorman or Man vs. Wild, both being programs about survivalists being dropped off in various terrains and having to live until they can get back to civilization.

I watch Discovery Channel all the time. Last night I watched Mythbusters. they proved that carrying a disposable lighter in your pocket can spontaneously combust under the right circumstances. they also had a professional trick (gun) shooter to show how fast you have to draw to shoot a silver dollar thrown into the air. it was a rerun, but it was good.

Body work
it's about esthetic surgeons. People who had the surgery were shown before and after. They share their experiences and feelings like fear, pain etc. And the surgeries were also shown. I like this show.
hope this helps
