Why don't they have business investors for up and coming business?

I am looking for an investor for a great business with a great return for the investor and the business.

Almost all new businesses fail, even if the idea is good. Its hard to find someone willing to hand over money to someone they don't know that well and hope they are competent.

Just what "they" are you talking about who would have those investors?

There are a number of people who invest in new businesses - from friends and family, to the formal venture capitalists, and lending institutions. To invest, anyone who isn't just making a donation wants to see a solid business plan that shows likelihood of success.
