What was your coolest moment on the 5/23 finale of LOST? For me it was when Sayid broke that guy's neck with his legs.

Personally I think the LOST finale was brilliant. It was easy for me to catch on right away that the flashes to Jack’s story where in the future this time rather than the usual back stories in all the episodes before.
I do not think that the next season(s), at least not the next season, will be off the island. What I think is that the back-stories of the past will now become future stories, such as the one we saw with Jack in the finale. Taking them off the island now would destroy the show. There is still so much to learn about the island and it’s mystical powers, and having them get rescued too early would make all those mysteries moot.
My favorite (coolest) moment(s) was Charlie's heroics.
As far as Charlie goes, I was sad to see him go, and I thought there would have been ample amounts of opportunities for him to save himself, but instead he chose to fulfill what he thought was his destiny (via Desmond’s visions). He proved redemption for his past failures, and in sacrificing himself for what he believed would save all the other survivors (Claire and the baby in particular) showed his true character as a hero, something he always strived to be. So to me I felt it was essential for him to die in order to portray the ultimate deep down good that lies within people, and in this case it was Charlie.
They were all brought to the island for a reason, this is obvious, but what those reason are, are yet to be determined for the remaining characters.
Personally I think they are all in a matrix like brain simulator. However, we’ll see won’t we?

That was so cool how Sayid did that. That one would be a close second for me. I have to give kudos to Hurley running those guys down in the van. It was cool to see him be a hero. He's got a good heart. I don't think he gets the respect he deserves because he's so big. Number three for me would be when Charlie was talking to Penny. I wish Desmond could've seen that. But why the heck didn't Charlie swim out the window that was blown out if wanted to save Desmond? Or, even better why didn't he just go out the door before he closed it. Then he and Desmond could've used the scuba gear to swim out.

When it was revealed that Jack's flashbacks were from the future. I had a feeling that would happen, because they kept showing his modern-looking cell phone, which wasn't around back in 2004 (when their plane crashed)
I also cheered when Sawyer shot that dude.
Hugo: Dude, he'd surrendered.
Sawyer: I didn't believe him.

That was the best!!! It totally made up for his lack of air time this whole season. Sayid Rocks!!!!

When Charlie died was the mest moment. I was really getting tired of Desmond saying, "You're Gonna Die Charlie", every other week.
