That's what my 6th grade teacher always used to say. I think there's truth in that, if you think about it. It's a defense mechanism.

There is almost always some sort of hurt feelings if your angry. If you dig deep enough. Which means... people who are angry and lashing out all the time are very much hurting inside...

(sometimes it covers fear...)

I don't know about that - they say that anger is a cover-up for fear or hurt, but I don't completely agree. Sometimes that is true, but I think anger can be a perfectly acceptable, justifiable emotion.

For example, I'd be angry if someone hurt someone I love, or broke something I treasure, and I don't think that has anything to do with hurt or fear, but just outrage.

i completely agree with it. Anger is generally used to cover jealousy, frustration or even love. When u dont want the other person to know how u feel, u use anger to cover it

Yes, I agree. Anger is a symptom of some underlying condition or issue.

Yes..... Ones Fears. Losing control and insecurity are also contributers to the mix.

Anger is stronger than emotions too and being emotional is basically being weak !!

i agree.... anger is always the cover up of how you are really feeling
..... you might be really sad..so you make anger replace the hurt....it just makes you feel better....
