how do i get a female burmy?

Put Honey on the trees and wait and keep trying until you find a Burmy. If you want a quicker way, try the GTS and offer a Pokemon in exchange for a Burmy, female, any level. I've had good success with the GTS.

You put some sweet honey on one of the trees, then wait, (it is a long process), and burmy are very rare, so it will take time, and a lot of patience, when the tree rattles (this can take up to 12 hours or so :/) go in front of it and press "a", then the pokemon will appear, like i said its not garunteed

put honey on a honey tree and after 24 hours check it

Slather honey on a tree, and hope its a female. But idk theres a certain way to get a female.
