Pink, and more usually light pink, helps bring color to anyone's skin tone. So if you like light pink definitely try this.
Also, what tone is your skin? Is it warm or cool? This is a factor when choosing colors to compliment or help your skin look better. If you have cool skin (comes with ashy hair, light eyes and you turn pink when in the sun) try a light blue or green, or even a light slate gray. If you have warm skin (and remember this is the tone, not the actual color so you can have cool tones with darker skin and vice versa) try light yellows, oranges, tan or light brown.
Dark suits always make anyone's skin look lighter than they are because it's such a contrast.

If you are pale and you go with a darker swimsuit color, it will contrast with your skin and make you look even paler. If you go with a lighter hue it will blend better with your skin and not make your light colored skin stand out as much. But remember, most people in the beginning of swimsuit season are pale! So if you find a dark colored suit that you just cant live without go for it!!

Light, light, light! Go for a nice white bathing suit. Or, if you're feeling bold, an orange suit will make you look VERY tan.
LOL, well maybe not SO white…I'm sure you don't want to advertise the goods.

I'd go for a multi-colored suit that's light to medium colors and pick colors that compliment colors naturally on your body.
A really dark suit would make you look sick and emaciated.
A light to medium colored suit would be more likely to make you look darker skinned.

Light colored. If you wear a dark bathing suit, it will contrast against your skin and make you look paler.

Lighter colors will make you look washed out, eg: yellow, orange, gold look great on tanned skin but no so good on paler skin. Try a darker color, like red, navy or black or wear some instant tan or bronzer before you hit the beach!!!

I'm enormously light and I believe white swim fits (both simple or with a coloured sample) appear quite well. I love them! Pale yellows, pinks, and blues that experience white styles additionally appear well.

I'd say maybe more of a medium toned color... to a lighter color.... I think if you go for white it would still look TOO light! and if you go for a dark color like black, it might be too dark... maybe go for more of a medium pink or aqua color.
