Is it just mine, or do all kids insist on having one on their finger when they see a new box?

When mine were little, we had 4 or 5 boxes in the cabinet at all times. I don't think there was ever a time when somebody didn't have at least 3 on their body. It's the universal cure all for little kids!

I have like 7 different cartoon characters at home (bandaids).
Dora, Spiderman, Batman, Barbie, Strawberry fruit cake, My little Pony, and last but not least, Go Diego Go!
As soon, as a "little scratch or a redness" show up, we can never decide which bandaid takes "the boo boo" away!!!!!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids like bandaids because of the fresh smell and the attention they get while wearing one. And the TLC they get when you are soothing their little hearts when they have a boo boo. I buy extra ones just for them. They're worth it.

Good question. They think it looks neat-kind of like showing off a diamond ring only it's a Care Bear Band-Aid. Maybe they like to make up injury stories. lol

I still want to buy a box of of them every time I walk past them in the store. They're just too cute! lol

My daughter is almost 12 now. She is my middle child and was the center of my attention until her little brother came along. With my wife not doing well after the delivery I took care of my son 24/7 for the first couple of weeks. She was only 2 but felt abandoned by me and my care of baby. She found a way to get attention from me by saying she had a boo-boo. Being the sucker I am I would play along and she would sit on my lap and I'd kiss her boo-boo. Suddenly she had a boo-boo every 30 minutes or so. Sometimes she would have to look for her boo-boo and maybe find a spot or and old one from days ago. I kept playing along because it made her feel special. She would proudly show off her boo-boo to anyone and everyone she met and show the band-aid I had placed on it with pride. I started calling her my little walking boo-boo. To this day I still call her boo, short for boo-boo. I am the only one allowed to call her this, by her choice. Band-aids are a badge of honor by children and a outward symbol of love and care. My boys could have an arm hanging off by a thread and deny the need for a band-aid. To them it's like kryptonite to superman. My daughter is older now, and her boo-boos mostly center around a broken heart, but she still knows how to get my attention and the special little thing she needs from me. I struggle now to find a band-aid for her grown up needs, sometimes I wish it was as simple as putting band-aid on her finger again.

Mine insists on putting one on each leg and wherever else she so desires when she sees a new box. It's really rather annoying.

both my kids wanted band aids on all the time, and these new fangled theme band aids are worse, the grandkid has to have one of each on at the same time, it looks like child protection has to get involved, I don't want to go out with the kid for fear of being arrested dear ♥

If it's one off those with Micky mouse, then yes. Besides you can't blame them. If it had Jessica Alba's pic, I would wear it every time the freakin' box is open!

When I was younger I would use a whole box for no reason. Once my parent's figured it out they had to hide them hehe.
