I don't think you can be a good parent if you teach your children to Hate Anything. You can teach the child to dislike,
not agree with, find solutions to problems of disagreements and to stand up for what he/she believes, and even pray for those that "hate" you, but never good to teach HATE. Unfortunately "hate" rears it's ugly head, unannounced all on it's own. It needs no help from parents. There are already enough people trying to teach our children to hate.

Can you believe you are a good parent if;
you teach your children to support a political party that supported Slavery, opposed Civil Rights, imprisoned Japanese citizens for no reason, organized lynchings of blacks in the streets of New York City, organized the KKK, pushed the United States into civil wars in North Korea and Vietnam and today spouts exactly the same political rhetoric against the Iraq war as they did against the Civil War?
The Democratic party should be disbanded in shame.
Yes, I will teach my children actual History starting with the first President to warn the United States about Islamic terrorists and go to war against an Islamic nation because of state sponsored terrorism, Thomas Jefferson.
I will teach my children how the party of Thomas Jefferson has been trying to rip the United States apart since the First President of the "anti-Slavery" party was elected in 1860.
What's up with teaching your kids to become fascists? Oh, it is not really fascism, it is just forcing people to "do the right thing".
After all, there must be something wrong with people who do not see things the same way you do.

Why in the world are you assuming that anyone is teaching hatred of liberals or any other group? Take a slow deep breath...hold it....exhale. Okay...Most children are not being neglected. The media is doing more to teach hate and intolerance than anyone else. Watch Rosie, Matthews, or any other mouthpiece for Islam supporters. Watch the anger in shows that supposedly allow free debate. Even if there are people teaching their children intolerance of liberals or conservatives, or any other group, it is not neglect. Neglect is a 4 year old 22 pound child in a dirty diaper.

I know I don't like the feeling I get when I hate what is going on.
Any parent that would intentionally teach their children to hate anybody or anything for any reason has to be sick.

it is spelled liberal here in the US...
I don't think anyone should train their children to hate or avoid anyone else...my people certainly don't but most people DO...
My parents were very open minded about people of all backgrounds, beliefs, etc. and when I got older I had the sense to make up my own mind about people.
Don't worry....you can teach your children to hate whomever you wish...or they will learn it on their own.

a parent does not teach their kids to hate. i never allowed them to see what goes on with y/a. i want them to have their own opinions of people. well, 2 weeks ago i was on immigrations and some one gave a web address, i clicked on it and was shocked to see that our American flag was tuned upside down and mexicos flag was on top of our flag. my 14 year old and 7 year old came in ans saw it. they asked why that was going on. so i explained it to them. the 14 year ld just shock her head and said people just have no respect. my 7 year old got very angry and said how dare they do that to my American flag. she went to school and told her teacher about it. we have to take care what are young see, it does bother them to see and hear hate.

Children form their opinions by watching their parents. Its passing down their values. Than you go to college and some lib atheist professor, tells you how your parents are all f#cked up.
