they had all of the past Idols sing except for her. Why wasn't she on it?

She is here in Chicago working on Oprah's Broadway production "The Color Purple" her new CD is being released soon.

I wondered that too, although she wasn't my favourite winner.I think that the Idol show could have had her tape a song to be played on the live show.It would have recognized her talent and she could have said best wishes to the finalists.

I was hoping she would but, I heard later on that She was working on the Brodway Production "The Color Purple!" That should be intresting!! Good luck!
