If you go to Kreuzberg, where Bergmannstrasse passes Marheinekeplatz there's a corner whith two specialist bookshops, one for crime and one for fantasy. If you walk down Bergmanstr. a bit to the west, there's an antique books store, too.

Oh, and there's a small Spanish book shop near the Elisabethkirche in Mitte, not sure about the exact address but if you take the tram to Pappelstraße and then walk a few steps down Invalidenstraße to the east, it's in a small side street on the left.

I like the tierpark. It's the zoo in eastern Berlin. It costs 11euro to get in and it is huge. The have an aviary you can go inside and there are huge bats flying around you. They have a 2-4 foot wing span and it's pretty freaky.

Check out the new memorial for the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. It's very moving, and right by the beautiful Capital building, which has a very modern looking glass dome that you should check out if you're there.
