Who the heck is Naomi if Penny said she doesn't know who Naomi is??? Why does she have a picture of Desmond and Penny?

Im thinking that Naomi was sent by Penny's FATHER, but not penny because when penny and charlie talk she says she doesnt know who penny is, so its safe to assume that maybe the Father has something to do with it, but if not i am thinking that it might be other hostiles who live somewhere on the island and now sincethey know where jack and the other islanders are, they will go and kill them all like ben said.

I think Ben could be right about Naomi. She may very well be part of a bad group. She may be part of Dharma trying to regain control of the Island. How did she get the picture of Desmond and Penny though? Penny's father was so rich, maybe he owns part of Dharma and somehow found out Desmond was on the Island. Did Locke kill her because he doesn't want to leave the island or because he was sent to? I think Jacob is a higher power and saved Locke to help serve a purpose. There has been talk about the "list" and those who are good and bad. Maybe Locke was asked by Jacob to help get rid of the bad people, which might be why he killed Naomi. We know they are not getting off the Island anytime soon because the show is going until 2010.

Like Ben said, Naomi is part of a group who has been searching for the island for years but can't find it because it's not on the map. Penny is with a whole other group of people she hired to find Des. I don't know how Naomi has a picture of Des and Penny.

Ben told Jack that she was part of a team of people that were trying to find the island, to see it's secrets. Jack didn't believe Ben and called the ship and gave them GPS location of the island.
This gets interesting though. Why did Naomi have a picture of Des and Penny?
That's what we're left wondering :) They can't reveal everything just yet you know ;)

My guess is that Naomi is working with the Dharma Initiative trying to re find the island.

Maybe, just maybe, Ben is telling the truth, for once. He and the others may in fact be the 'Good Guys'. And maybe just maybe, Naomi and her people are the 'bad guys'.

naomi was from the research team that went out to find desmond and penny knew who she was. that's why naomi had the picture. I CRIED WHEN CHARLEY DIED!
