Our hearts or mind's eye can see into the very soul of yet another person - or animal - to experience the excitement, the sorrow, the pathos and suffering that isn't be outwardly obvious - yet we are in a position to experience this if we are religious sufficient. The exterior looks, the heart can see the beauty inside but not the beauty outside, but you eyes only focus on the exterior looks than the interior and most people use their eyes instead of their heart when choosing a partner and that is why you find that we have a high divorce rate.

Some things that are as unbelievable and as surreal as a monumental disaster, such as failure when we were so sure that we would succeed, or sudden and permanent loss of something or someone dear to us.

I saw the answers of other people, but I think that the truth is in our hearts. Our hearts can see beyond the things our eyes show to the heart.
But refuses to see the things contrary to love. It seems that it can't see when you are used or treated badly.
