The View has gone from being a show where everyone was cordial and shared their opinions without trying to outshout each other. Meredith Viera was the perfect person to keep the discussions civil. The show has become "Jerry Springer, the Sequel" and all of the participants are to blame on some level including Barbara Walters.

If they want a republican point of View they should at least get someone mature enough to debate.
Elizabeth is immature, uninformed and simply wants to tow the party line.
That does not make for intelligent debate.
It just creates alot of fights, like yesterday which are annoying.
And it is quite hilarious that EVEN Donald Trump thinks Elizabeth is the Dumbest Person on TV!!
I guess she shouldn't of invoked his name in that argument after all !!

Somebody should slap Joy and Rosie. TIme for Barbara to pull the plug and retire and terminate The View.
It went from Meredith to constantly talking about body parts and sex to a political debate everyday. Joy & Rosie show no respect for the USA. Joy is just as loud and obnoxious as Rosie.

Despise is such a strong word......It's quite simple.....She is a no talent air head who sounds like a chipmonk when she talks.......I could never figure out how she ended up on the show to begin with......What did she bring to the table? ? ?
Her claim to fame is ??????????(what) Now, however, she can make claims since Rosie has now put her face and name out there, Rosie has made her famous, and when Rosie leaves...what's this person gonna do???? I gotta idea, let her go to work for FOX !!!!!!

I suppose it could be that she reminds me of a chihuahua biting Golden Retrievers, she just doesn't have the experience to make a difference. Shes also insufferably smug. Shes also nasty and lacking a sense of humor.
Outside of being a "Survivor" what is she?
A double standard? Not really, I don't like the constant cutting off that they do, on anyones part, but she runs on and doesn't have much to say, she starts the ball rolling, but she hasn't got good follow through and that's why her interruptions are disliked.

People do not like Elisabeth for a few reasons. I've heard from friends that they can't stand that speech impediment she has. I don't care. I personally can't stand her for two reasons, she always sounds like an ideologue Republican. She seems coached and has rehearsed Republican rhetoric for every answer--personally, I don't think the girl truly understands politics, but is quite comfortable with spewing out old garbage, just to stay "in" with the conservative lot. She started off very naive on the show, and she's been exposed to a lot of things living here in New York and the people she's met. The problem is, although I FEEL she's an open minded individual and has become more worldly, she was hired as a conservative Republican voice, and she feel that on the show she must live up to it. Her eyes say one thing--the truth, the words that come out of her mouth aren't hers. The last reason why she annoys a lot of people: phoniness. Sorry, you wanted to know.

I think alot of people don't like Elisabeth on The View because most of us these days are knowledgeable and informed about things going on in the world today, and Elisabeth comes across as a naive little girl who's very much out of touch with what's going on. She has her staunch viewpoint and does not seem capable of seeing another person's point of view. Elisabeth is out of her league on The View, since the other ladies are actually able to discuss things. Elisabeth is too young and naive to even participate in any intelligent conversations.

I actually despised her before that. She is a loud mouth brat who never says anything intelligent just whines. She is shrill and obnoxious and I honestly hate to watch the show just because I can't stand the sound of her voice. She changes her stand on things, she cries about everything and thinks she is better than everyone on the show. For instance, if anyone, not referring to yesterdays show. Even tries to talk she starts yelling louder because she doesn't want to here it. She gives her point of view and then she doesn't want to hear what everyone else says. Its as if she things "okay I spoke, time is up no one else can speak" again, not talking about yesterday but every other day.

I believe Mrs. Hasslebeck has attempted to follow direction and has been failed by those who instructed her. The show has lost focus and all are culprit /complicit in the demise. Bill Gedde and Barbara Walters, it starts from the top. Robert Iger, CEO Disney
write him he is top dog of the whole shootin match.
Double standard is not taking responsibility for cast members who have gone astray and need further focus, removal and better direction & focus. I love Rosie, for her sake I hope she bails, I know I would. Elisabeth will move to Fox where bless her heart she will be manipulated despite her great ideas and voice. MY opinions thank you.

I love elizabeth...i wish that she was not the only conservative on the show...it should be 2 and 2 not 3 and 1!!! it is completly ridiculous that rosie is attacking elizabeth for not sticking up for her...i wouldnt either no matter how good of "friends" we were... rosie should have to tell the american people what she ment not expect elizabeth to do it for her!! Rosie made her bed and now she needs to lie in it!!!
