Why don't you say something to him at least about the magazine? Tell him that everybody has to read that magazine, and taking it to the restroom with him makes it unsanitary and that he needs to be considerate. When you guys see him reaching for the magazine next time, ask him where he's planning on reading it. If he says he's going to the restroom, tell him to take a newspaper instead. If he disagrees, ask him to accompany you to your bosses office, but give your boss a heads up first. Or ask him to accompany you to human resources or similar office that deals with people making the workplace unsanitary and/or unproductive. (Unproductive in that nobody wants to touch the mandatory reading after it has made it's daily bathroom visit)

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. My cubicle is kiddy corner to this young lady, who I might add is a little on the "severely touched" side, but she was clipping her toenails out of all things at her desk, EWWWWWW. I mean pant legs rolled up and all. I was disgusted with the whole scenario. Finally I couldn't take anymore of the clicking noise and asked her could she please take that to the bathroom. She had the nerve to tell me that she wasn't bothering anyone bcuz she was in her cubicle, ha!

All horrible It's worse if you cut your toe nails as well.Get yourself your own scissors.I think you could have a word about the magazines though. You could get him a copy of Playboy to take instead.

Oh you have every right to pull him over this magazine thing.....he is an animal he should wait till he gets home to do his blobbies not at work.
To be perfectly honest I ahve no idea how you have menaged to contain your self the more I think about it the more I thin he should think himself lucky that you are all tolerant of his behaviour.....do not put up with it any longer.

yes that is very gross and immature. you need to ask him polility;ity to do his toe nails at home. i would even buy him a pair of toenails clippers to take home with him. about the magazines i would put them in the trash, there is no telling what germs or on it!

Totally gross!!!
You all need to have a talk with this guy, or have your boss talk to him, and tell him the ins and outs of being considerate to those he works with.

It's not as gross as having long dirty finger nails. But then again he should be doing it at home.
