The serenity of logic is very reassuring.
It just popped into my head a few years ago and I thought !!!!! Wow!
My pet theory is that we are the first, most advanced form of life which is why we haven't had any confirmed alien visitations. They haven't taken tea with the Queen or landed on the White House lawn.
To be honest though, I think that Kofi Anan is more accurately described as the leader they'd want to be taken to.
However, since there are other races with technological intelligence but it's not up to our superlative level, we'll not get to meet them until we are able to go there.
Which begs the question .... If you were on a reconnaissance mission to a less advanced civilisation, would you want to abduct them and perform strange experiments on them?

I often wonder why we are here?
What if there are folks out there on another planet, do they really look like us?? do we have a "mirror image" planet out there?
Is there live/hope after death?
Can that lovely chap Colin Fry really contact the other world?
I wish I could get some answers?

2nd question: There is a higher power that, by whatever means, brought the Universe into being. This higher power was created by a yet higher one, which, in turn, was created by an even higher one, and so on, forever, backwards in time.
