It is said that Leonardo had two paintings with the same name. One that he took with him to France, which is the Mona Lisa everyone has come to know, that was unfinished. Some think that throughout time the eyebrows and eyelashes dissolved from the picture. While another hangs in Florence, where it had originally started. In Vasari's biography it states how Mona Lisa's eyebrows emerge for her skin in perfect harmony in her every pore, same is said about her powerful stare extenuated by her eyelashes. So which is true. Da Vinci is a man of mystery---unlocking his many secrets is a tedious task, but will we ever know the truth? Doubt it

leonardo was utterly surprised when he saw that eyebrows can be plucked to look beautiful ...so he tried to....do that with the pic....

may be she did not shape them well , so, leonardo must have tried to shape them. and u know the final result. he must have used his razor to do it.
