Every one is intelligent in there own way, so I don't believe in judging others in such a way as that. We each do what we do, and there is no need to prove any thing. Intelligence can not be measured as you are wanting to do it here.

On here you have both book smart as well as street smarts, both are good. Both are needed in this world, but you can not always measure each in the same equal type of way.

I've known people who are book smart, where it all looked good on paper. They were almost scary, because they were so smart.

But those same people had no common sense, so that when they were put in a room full of con artists they were beat (conned) every time. All I could do was to shake my head and fix what had happened. I saw it for my self, he was a great guy, but the cons beat him hands down and it ticked me off.

And I have know people who were not book smart if you will, did not have that going on for them at all. Drop them into a room full of con artists, and they tripped the cons up every time. These people had street smarts, and in this world you often have a greater need for that. Let's face it street smarts is some thing that we must use each and every day, just to be able to survive.

Each situation calls for different kinds of intelligence, so how can you possibly measure what each of us know or even how we use what we know.

It becomes the scenario of, is the glass half empty or is the glass half full? Good luck with that, as it is all in how it is viewed and how it is used.

I doubt I'm the most intelligent person on the entire site .... I quake with awe in S&M but I'm up near the top in P&S (still not saying I'm at the top.)

However, I shall ask a metaphysical question in return.

How can you prove intelligence?

I may have a huge dictionary beside me (no, that one's in the bedroom, the one in here is quite small) or be googling everything to make it seem as though I am more intellectually enabled than I actually am.

I shall admit that on occasion I have googled things to make sure I have spelling (when I can't be bothered to grab my mini-dictionary; a foot to my south east) and meaning correct but on the whole what you see is pure 'me'

It can be quite intimidating to some people.

I think I'm intelligent but I would never claim to be anymore intelligent than anyone else. And there's no way to prove who is!! Is it you?

I suspect that anyone who would care to assert their superior intelligence in a forum as intellectually ' patchy' as this, is probably a cretin!
What matters here is a person's contribution- you don't need to be Steven Hawking to have some insight.
