In addition to the above, it depends on the email product (Yahoo, MSN, GMail, Outlook Express, etc.). Some have the ability to insert image instead of attaching a file.

It also depends on the recipient's email product and settings. They could have their email security settings to block HTML content, strip attachments with certain file extensions, or even to suppress images.

It is different in every email provider.
Yahoo mail will allow you to insert "files" and you need to tell it where is the location of this file in your computer.

Microsoft outlook or Outlook express is easier , since you can "Insert" the picture. It gets complicated only because Googles gmail is again, different from those other two, and the next one is different, etc.

Basically the simplest way to do it if you are just starting to learn how to send pictures is to work on the picture first. With your original photoediting software, edit the size of the picture into inches , choose 3 inches x 3 inches, etc, then save it in a file which is easy to find.
Then practice sending that picture to a friend.

Try right clicking on the picture and choose send to 'mail recipient' you should then be asked if you want to make the picture smaller or keep the original size. Your email program should then open, with the picture as an attatchment.I use Thunderbird email ( the best ) but its the same for O.Express

When you send the photo as an attachment, when the person who opens the attachment , if they export the photo into their photo shop program, they can edit it in any way they wish, like enlarge etc. If the person receiving the email doesn't have a photo shop, Google has a really good free one called " Picasa 2 ". It's the best one I have ever seen yet. It's reall user friendly, and for me , that's good, because these sorts of things throw me for a loop sometimes.

First be sure that the recipient is applying an e mail application that reflects photos. e mail is a text textile medium, so no longer all e mail classes do photos. some will only ignore with reference to the photograph, some will teach the code for the photograph (so your recipient will see some thousand strains of rubbish text textile). in the adventure that your e mail application and the recipient's e mail application do photos, only replica the photograph whilst this is in a picture editor and paste it into the e mail.

When it's attached it's only a thumbnail it's not the actual size -_- they can download it and view it in the normal size.

Change your email format to HTML. That might help.
