After selecting "best answer" you can write or get comments. I do it maybe once a week. I'm trying to get better. I just read one comment from a few weeks ago and some dude left me his telephone number! LMAO!

I usually give comments to the Best Answer chosen, as you do. But as far as looking for other's comments....now that you mention it, I am a tad tardy. Thanks...I'll put it on my calender. *winks*

I person would have had to either been in a coma for past 5 years or in the right's echo chamber not to notice that conservatives have tried to paint Obama has something foreign and unAmerican, and his ethnic background has been central to that effort. This is not just something that Chris Mathews has commented about. Other people, like Colin Powell have commented on it as well. That's what Mathews was alluding to in his comments. But as always, instead of objectively analyzing his comments to try and understand why he said what he said and if there might be any validity to it, the right dismissed it out of hand and turned it into yet another Obama / left bashing talking point. This crap is really getting tiring.

I do try to go back and check out any comments, yes. Rarely see much there, though...and if someone does comment and I reply, it's rarer still that there's followup.
It'd be *much* more user-friendly if Yahoo would send email notifications of comments, it's true...or even have a summary tab showing commented questions on our home page. Otherwise...not much point to it.
...though I did find one user using the comments section on one of my questions to share a little nudge-nudge-wink-wink with one of the other answerers...so I s'pose there's a *little* entertainment value. :P
