No. It is at least a thousand miles to the sea from Chicago. There are some beaches on Lake Michigan but the water is not very warm. The sandy beaches look good and are pleasant to sit on but swimming is not a good idea.

I'm English-born and live in Australia, and even I know that it's spelt Chicago and it's not on the sea, it's on one of the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan, and I wouldn't swim in it, personally, since it's probably dirty! Oh, and frozen for about 4 months of the year. So ye'd probably best not.

Nope- Chicago is in the middle of the US. Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.

Itz a great lake ...there are a few beaches in the area soo you can swim in it... Although it tends to be rather cold...
