I absolutely love Tom Hanks and I think he is probably the greatest actor of our time, but I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be saying him so for variety's sake, I'll go with Sean Penn. His performance in Mystic River was simply amazing. I get chills just thinking about when all of those police are restraining him and he's screaming, "Is that my daughter in there!?" He does a great job in every movie he's in. His performance in Dead Man Walking is stellar as well as his performances in Carlito's Way and I Am Sam. He's simply amazing.

Tom Hanks probably. He's been the most consistantly good actor over the years and can actually turn his hand to anything and actually make it worth watching.
Actress, I'd have to say I've been impressed by Toni Collette. Very good character actress.

Just ask Nicholson, de Niro, Pacino and Hanks.

(Sorry, the rest of yuz.)

>>He can do anything. See especially, "Marathon Man," "Wag the Dog," and "Rain Man," along with "The Graduate," and of course, "Meet the Fockers."

I say Robert de Niro is the best becausehe has performed too many challenging roles, and he has performed very well.

But Al Pacino is still my most favorite actor because he has more spank.
