No, it's not. There has been no gene identified which codes for precognitive ability, and in fact, nobody has ever demonstrated that precognitive ability even exists in the first place. At this point, precognition can't be considered anything more than coincidence and illusion.

Well, we always hear about how each psychic was guided by their psychic grandmother or aunt etc etc. So, it leads you to believe that maybe they are a little more gifted b/c of them being related.
However, could it also be that someone was there with an open mind to guide them to understanding and using the gift, instead of supressing it and making like its all in their imagination, ya know?
I don't think we will know for years and years to come. The human brain and soul are totally different things, but both are still a mystery to the world as how they work exactly.
We can say facts, but scientists have to tap into 100% what makes those 2 things tick.
So, to me, it may be inherited, but being guided is what makes the bigger difference.

If you have conclusive evidence that proves the existence of precognition (aka psychic ability, ESP, prophecy, intuition) then you're the only person on earth who has it as far as I know.
I'd like to know how you conducted the kinds of studies necessary to prove the existence of precognition without any scientists, academics or anyone else finding out about it. I'd love to read your published work on this. Please post a link.

I believe precognition runs in families on the mother's side. I don't believe everyone is precognitive, the most i would say is having a gut feeling about something.

there's a stability between alertness, consistent shifting, and relaxing, retaining capability. Crocodiles shield capability by way of performing to be logs. They anticipate the prospect to strike. people could additionally wait patiently for the 2d of risk. Or they are in a position to maintain shifting, squirming. and starve to death formerly the time is suited to strike. It relies upon on the ambience that's right. character genes could nicely be inherited. The social customs additionally are inherited by way of discovering. Australian Aborigines found out to stay to tell the story in a harsh land by way of retaining capability. they might enable archives flow slowly on their faces quite than burn capability shifting them. They invented the boomerang so as that they'd not could desire to retrieve a ignored shot. It got here decrease back to them. If a team is in an capability wealthy environment they are in a position to verify to act quicker and seize extra capability. they are in a position to verify quicker than Darwinian genetics facilitates. A habit is a practiced act. they are in a position to prepare till it truly is a habit. I knew a solid instructor who set up a school room the place pupils right this moment have been given to artwork. with a bit of luck it became a habit for them different cases so as that they did no longer waste time ever.

Precognition/premonition/future sight, is half inherited. It really comes from learning to control your psychic powers not that everyone has them. You also need to believe in it. It can be passed down through the years and is most common in girls/women. It is hardly in men.

I do think that everyone has the skill, but few people (are able to) use it. Even when it hasn't been scientifically proven that it exists, neither the existence of a god has been proven an how many people believe in him / her, so why not in precognition?

Yes, MOST people do, there are a few exceptions, but it just depends on what we grow up with. If you have someone who is in tune to things like this, then most likely you will believe and try it yourself, hence being able to do it. If you grow up with someone who totally pushes this all away, most likely you will too. It just takes time to learn. It's like a having a dog, in a way. If there owner is nice, most likely the dog will be too, and vice versa. It all depends on or choices and what we grow up with.
