Use the force! Don't know the invirorment you'll be in. But stage fright is common and there is a few simple tricks to temporarly get pass it.
Best way I found ( hopefully we are talking some sort of stage setting), pick few object towards the back of the room (bright lights are best) and talk to the objects as if talking to yourself in front of a mirror.
DO NOT look people in the eye during the speach. People's direct and indirect facial expressions can make you stumble fast. Just don't do it.
Keep a good posture. Keep your head up and don't think about what they are thinking. Say your piece (keep focused)and bite into it.
Good luck! You'll do good.

You have to overcome your shyness by all cost. If you are giving speech then think that you are a very important person on that ocassion. Never let go anything or any moment easily because everything counts on your personality and your style. Just give your speech and believe me you will never be shy. And once you deliver your speech you will be encouraged to give more speeches and be more talkative.. ~~haha!! It's normal..

Practice! Take a class on public speaking and if you can't find one then try doing it on your own. Start small (give a speech to your cat) and work your way up to larger groups. The more you do it the more natural it becomes.

Try doing the speeches around your family first then if they think you're okay then try speaking to a small crowd or your friends and don't think about making a mistake or people laughing at you. Just focus on your speech or something...

it is very hard to get over...you just have to put yourself into situations where you need to speak in front of people about things you know without having notes...such as community service meetings where you can just add one or two things...build your confidence to do more and then you will be slowly overcoming your fear...good luck
