What do you think? This would be a non-life threatening injury of course, which would force him to retire and not allow him to break the home run record. Would you wish for a thing like that?

I Hate To Be Mean BUT HELL YES I Don't Want To See Him Break The Record

The only injury i would hope for before Bonds breaks the record is if Bud Selig would actually go to watch the record, and Barry slices one foul right at Bud. This should be a celebration no matter what. Dude has been droppin bombs since day 1. Even if he did take steroids (which he NEVER tested positive for), he still has to hit the freakin ball. Why do you think hitting 3 out of 10 gets you in the hall of fame in baseball, but 3-10 in any other category in sports gets you fired. Cause its the hardest thing to do in sports. Hit a round ball with a round stick at 95mph. And he's been doing it great since day 1.

First of all, I would never wish an injury to any professional athlete at any level of skill. Why would anyone think that. Very childish, sick and just wrought of hatred, even if it's a non life threatening injury. People like you should be locked up in prison or commit suicide because your thinking does not fit in proper society.

Are you people true baseball fans or jumping on the media bandwagon for hating an innocent man?

It's kinda dull when people ask questions that don't matter, have no intelligence or still accuse Barry of "tainting baseball", "disgracing the sport" or "still taking steroids" without any facts or solid proof. Please ask questions that carry at least 50% use of brain cells, so that we educated people will not get bored.

I hope he breaks the record and then retires. I dont care how anybody feels about it. This is history and its happening in our lifetime and we should be happy even though it could be "somewhat false." I wouldnt worry too much, if A-Rod plays another ten years without getting injured he'll break the record so we may see history twice in our lifetimes. Oh, and on a side note. I firmly believe that if Ken Griffey Jr. had never got hurt he would already broken the record and Bonds wouldnt be an issue. I remember seeing something on sportscenter a few years ago that said Griffey was halfway to Hank's record at a younger age than Hank was to Babe. Plus you have the year that they went on strike, Griffey would've broken the single season record that year.

no I don't wish that to happen to a All American player like Barry bonds , I think they should let him fulfill his goal of breaking the hank Arron record I think that is messed up if someone does wish he retires and doesn't break the record let the man do his thing.

No, I don't wish injury on any player.

Now, for those of you who say he never tested positive for steroids, you're right. BALCO was ahead of the tests and the roids he was taking weren't detectable.

On the flip side, he actually ADMITTED taking them, so don't act like he's some innocent victim in a large conspiracy here... And for his claim that he didn't know what he was taking.... this man knows how many carbs are in every bowl of cereal he eats, and carefully monitors EVERYTING he puts on or in his body, why would he just suddenly stop caring when his trainer hands him some cream? Seems like BS to me.
Get your facts straight.

Never. However, I would wish that he all of a sudden developes a conscience and some class. The perfect scenario would be that as he crosses the plate for #754 (or even #755), he takes off his helmet and elbow armor, and walks up through the stands & out of the stadium & MLB forever.

I would love to see him go down. he doesn't deserve THE record. its tainted and not the real thing. even hank arron doesn't like how hes being pasted. I would only wish this two players, barry and the catcher for the white sox who will not be named.

I never wish harm to anyone. Those who have said such things are just plain foolish. I would much rather see him "man up" and admit to his steroid use and than walk away from the game. Of course he will never do that. This is a person who lets Greg Anderson do his jail time for him. This is a guy who so indifference to the fans and a clear hatred to the media. Integrity is not part of his makeup.

No matter what one thinks of Bonds, that's just sick.

Baseball is great and glorious entertainment, but it's just that -- entertainment, a sporting diversion. There really are a few things more important.

Besides, if it weren't for his knee troubles in 2005, he'd already be looking down at 755.
