In order to get somewhere, you have to go half-way to get there. Then you have to go half-way from where you are. And again and again. Will you ever get to where you're going?

Seems like you're taking Zeno's dichotomy paradox and running with it.

However, when you think about it, you do eventually get to your final destination (because it takes the same amount of time to get from the starting point to the halfway point as it does from the halfway point to the ending point).

Zeno's contention was that you have to take an infinite number of steps (half of every length) in a finite amount of time. However, we do not stop halfway (unless you're Zeno) and although the steps themselves become smaller, we do get to the end, otherwise you would still be trying to finish half your question.

If Zeno had taken Calculus, he would realize the limit of an infinite sum can be a finite number. The paradox is imaginary because dividing a distance into an infinite number of parts doesn't change the distance OR the time required to travel it.

E.g. The sum of [1 + 1/2 + 1/4 +1/8.......] =2

i walked thru so much only to stop and question myself, where am i going, is this the right place and am i heading the right direction. again and again.

soon as i walked further from where i started things starts changing and often i dun end up to where i'm supposed to go or be at. cos as i walked on i found interesting places, curiousity kills the cat.

it may take a longer time or route to go to where i wanted to probably, but along the way i've learnt so much, seen and hear that much to be aware of what is going on..

i'm now there with more experience.

Things may always seem to pop up at the worst time while trying to get some where in life, I believe it is up to how the person feels and reacts to the changes that enables or hampers an individual from obtaining a life goal.

So if you truly want something in life it will happen, as long as your prepared to fight your way to it.

Of course.

If your destination is the bathroom, you don't stop off in the living room and soil yourself every time do you?

No. You make it to the bathroom. Do your business and get on with it.

You're thinking too much into it.
