That's because a very large number of kid's these days are just to lazy to do the work for themselves. They feel that if they go into a forum like this and just ask the question and they get the answer they're looking for then thats called research. They're not learning anything more then how to cheat. That's why I don't answer they're questions for them . Let them figure it out on their own.

Ronny says Die. Excellent. Threatened by someone who doesn't know the difference between 'their' and 'there' (or were and we're). As I try and tease out the threads of your story I detect a hint of some tragic (and courageous) circumstance. But 'Die?'. No sorry, I'm reporting you for abuse and threats.

I might add, since we try and keep things on a constructive footing here, that if I think that I could give someone some novel answer or viewpoint, or encouragement then I'll answer a 'simple' but honestly put question.

I on no account had the posh of the internet whilst i became at school. If I had coursework to do for GCSE's I had to jot right down to human beings and bypass to the library for analyze. it form of feels those days, teenagers ask just about each and every thing by way of applying the internet, it would not inspire them to easily artwork confusing to hit upon the solutions, even seek engines make it too trouble-free. i think of it only promotes laziness.

I've noticed that, too. Some people are just too lazy and somewhat dense.

I also don't understand why people waste their time typing "When did the civil war occur?" when its easier to just type "civil war" on yahoo's search engine and get the answer.

I think kids today are taking up space in the classroom. I have two granddaughter who are high school seniors. They epitomize the "airhead". One doesn't even know how to tell time. Neither of them knows how to use a dictionary. Their spelling is atrocious and they don't have a clue about American History. They know how to text message on their cellphones, though. That should come in handy.

Which is exactly what I tell them to do. I've even been reported for answers like "google it", and"do your own homework".
Lilian, why do you let your daughter answer others' homework questions? Would you allow her to cheat like that? What does anyone learn from this?

By doing that they'll just be studying. By asking here they are having fun too.
