There's pet food bakeries and dog psychatrists, and designer pet clothing brands for crying out loud. More people buy Christmas presents for their dogs than donate to holiday charities for people. And my aunt- she used to be a loving aunt that spent a lot of time visiting us. But ever since she got this dog years ago all she ever does is spend time with it. She skipped my own graduation party because "her dog gets grumpy when she leaves". She always places her dogs' priorities over any of her relatives. Any dog this obnoxious, pampered and dependant deserves to die. You'd think if people spent this much time with their dogs they'd take the time to be more responsible- like actually neutering and cleaning up after it and keeping it on a leash so they don't kill children.

Hey I don't hate ALL dogs...I love dogs like Sprocket from Fraggle Rock and Lassie- I hate dogs that crap in as many places as possible, hump everything in sight, and growl at and attack people for no reason

This is horrible...my mom bought me a Rottweiler 13 yrs ago, she spoiled him...she would take him thru mcdonalds and get him cheeseburgers, take him to the drive thru at dairy queen and ask them to sit a bowl of ice cream in the bed of the truck for him...he didnt eat doggie snacks - his snacks were slim jims and string cheese. When I was 13 he bit me in the face and I had to have 10 stiches on my jaw and underneath my chin...and we still kept him, mom wouldnt let him go. After all that crap he still lived to be 12. I honestly think he would have gotten chosen over me haha.

You have a very valid point, people these days with lots of expendable cash love to show off to inflate their huge middle class ego's, so they have dog weddings and cause their dog gets depressed, it needs counseling. I'd love to know what the dog tells the psychiatrist on the couch.

The solution - Canned Dog Stew. Not to feed the dogs; to feed us, yummy.

As Don Henley sang, "Get Over It"! Your Aunt has found the perfect excuse to avoid people for whatever reason. Don't blame the dogs, it's the people.

To answer your question, no, I don't find it sick how dogs live better than most people....dogs act better than most people, and they are treated accordingly.
