I care to about a 4-5 range. It all depends on who they are and what value they have in my life. That isn't to say I wont' go to the full 10 or 0 but it is all in the people and the situation.

You should have included 0 because that's how much I care. Life is too short to worry about minor things especially when you know you are doing your best toward yourself and others. I used to care a great deal and came to realize that you can't satisfy everybody and it really doesn't matter what others think as long as I am not hurting myself or anyone else.
