Do any of you feel that *some* white women date Hispanic and Black men because their fathers forbade them to. I have dated black men. I find nothing wrong with interacial relationships, but i wonder if *some* women find different races attractive because they were made to believe it was wrong and their rebellious side takes over. Does this make any sense to you.

I feel I need to clarify....The trashy white girls who flaunt their nastiness...not classy women. I think trashy women feel like they have to prove themself in some way but classy women are o.k. with themself that they don't have to justify.

but i was brought up a non racist and my parents like all different people.

I find Italian men very attractive,and I'm not being rebellious.My mom was very strict when it came to that,I myself find Latino men to be very self centered.It's an ego thing,a complete turn off.I'm Latina,and I've dated an Italian man that was the sweetest person I had ever met.He was very affectionate,and made some passionate love to me.I think it's whatever makes you happy.You have a mind of your own.

No. I can't answer for all of "my people." I have casually dated outside of my race simply because opposites attract and I thought the guy had a nice personality. I didn't date him merely because of his race. My father wouldn't disapprove anyway.

i know what your saying. i had a close friend who was white, and only dated black men. she wouldn't even give a white guy the time of day. she always said it was just her preference, but her mom used to wig out about it. her father died when she was a baby, and her mom would comment that her father was probably "rolling in his grave" i always thought that had a lot to do with it.

I have found that more often than not, white women who date other races just can't get a white guy.
And remember, some women like German shepherds too.
And if someone just dates out of rebelliousness against his or her parents, well that's just immaturity.

I date Hispanic men because they're gorgeous.
My dad has never forbidden me to date anyone, because he couldn't care less about my life.

i can understand and see where you're coming from, but i think when it comes to relationships and attraction and love, it's all chemistry.......nothing you can control....i have a friend that her family were basiclly racist, and she is now married to a black man....but it has nothing to do with her family's views, it's because he's who she fell in love with....love is a very strong thing
