has anyone had the shot? My frind said that everyone had to take their tops of coz the shirts didn't let thtem get the right spot on the arm and i know that it is not something she would lie about but i was wondering if it was jsut their tops or if any one else had to do the same thing.

my daughter had the series of shots (there are 3)..she was wearing a t-shirt and they just rolled the sleeve up and gave her the shot all three times.

If you decide to have the shot just wear a tank top. We need to inject the meaty part of the arm and short sleeves can get in the way. I usually just ask someone to take an arm out - not take the whole shirt off.

I have never had the vaccine before because I am way over the age of the group of women that it was designed for and also I already have had issues with HPV and I also have additional health reasons for why I won't get the shot. But whenever I have had any kind of injection sometimes the needle got inserted right thru my shirt or sweater and the medicine went in but otherwise I just roll up my sleeves and the dr gives me my injection when I need it (I get certain injections for one of my medical problems).

The Army requires all of their females under 25 to receive the shots. I had to remove my long sleeve ACU top, but my t-shirt was just rolled up and I was given the shot. They are one of the more painful vaccinations I have received but I think it is more than worth it.

i have gotten the shot twice already and no you dont have to take any clothing off at all. who ever told you that is not right because you do not have to take your clothes off

i never had to take anything off, and i was wearing a jumper! i just rolled up my sleevs and she jabbed it on Ouchie :(
