i just gave birth to my baby 2 months ago and now is on a birth control pill.

the problem is that i am facing unusual menstrual cycle. i just have my period beginning of this month and today, i have my period again..

may i know if birth control pill will make ur period unusual?

Yes, being on the pill, especially starting out can cause breakthrough bleeding (bleeding that occurs and making a woman that she thinks is a period but isn't). It can take a bit of time to adjust to being on the pill.

I have had this happen several times before, especially for the way in which I take it to try and take care of some medical problems I have.

I would also suggest letting your dr know what's going on so that it can be documented on your chart just to be on the safe side.

No, birth control actually regulates your period. A lot of people are put on birth control pills for that sole reason alone. Sometimes it just takes a few months for your body to adjust. It will, just give it some time and then it'll be like clockwork.

Yes, birth control pills can cause irregular periods and breakthrough bleeding in between. If you notice that the bleeding continues right up until your next 'normal' period, you may need a switch in pills. Congrats on the new baby!

Absolutely. The pill can do a variety of things and everyone is different, so you need to work with your doctor to find the best birth control for you. The pill may be alright for you, but you need to keep the doctor informed.
