'WE WUZ ROBBED!!!'

I didn't hear the scouse skum whining when AC milan were robbed 2 years ago...

lets just accept 2 things...

1st... POOL WON NOTHING THIS YEAR... ITS A DEFUNCT SEASON, you were no where near man utd and chelsea in the league, you got blown out of the carling and fa cup... face it... your most definately NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT the best team in england...

2nd - Ac Milan were the best team in 2005 and lost
liverpool were the better team in 2007 and lost...

sounds like a fair result overall to me.

Liverpool fans ain't gonna like what you wrote but deep down they will have to admit you have hit the nail on the head. I totally agree with ya.

I have to start by saying I think Benitez is doing a fantastic job at Liverpool but that can be counter productive.
You aren't able to live on your club's history - all that matters in football is the here and now so previous European victories entitle you to nothing in today's game I'm afraid.
I appreciate that much of Liverpool is probably feeling aggrieved and upset this morning but get over it - you'll have seasons like that and that's what makes the beautiful game in this country the best in the world!
It takes any manager a while to build and structure a team - just look at Alex Ferguson and the years it took before his hard work started to bear fruit for the club.
In a nutshell - nothing is ever certain in football and I feel that many of the Liverpool fans that are stilling feeling sore this morning probably had expectations beyond their ability - no club is unbeatable - and I think that in the end, bearing in mind what happened in Istanbul, Milan deserved to win.
There's always next year - and the sooner it starts again the better - it get's so dull during the closed season :(

talk about being bitter! Liverpool fans stayed right till the end singing 'you never walk alone' no other club would have done that.

2 years ago maybe AC Milan where the better team but they cocked up by celebrating at half time thinking the game was over - it aint over till its over.

last nights game liverpool play very well it was just AC Milans night - and the fans have said that and conratulated AC Milan on that .

the point is we got to final twice in 2 years where has chelsea and man u been in those 2 years!! being the champions of europe is a much better acheivement than winning the leauge -

Both of your points are flawed.

1: Lvpl was indeed an inferior team to United and Chel$ki but Lvpl overachieved in the champions league. Did you honestly expect Lvpl beat Spanish Barca and Russian Chel$ki to represent English League in Champions League Final?

2: air conditioning milan was no way the best team in 2005. The best team in the world never lose a game after taking 3 goals lead with 45 mins left. Lvpl was indeed a better team last night.

3: Dont be so bitter at liverpudalians. date a scouse girl. They are nice s-h@-g-s.

4: Glory Glory United

Yeah a lot of tears in the Mersy today,
but thats life, should not count your chickens before they are hatched.

I wonder will "Big" hearted Liverpool F.C. have a whip around for the 150 Fans who never made it to the Match, due to the aircraft developing engine trouble (and No! there is no truth in the roumer the pilot was a A. C. Milan Fan) would be a good PR stunt.

Liverpool did play well. Mancini was surprised by the control Liverpool had in midfield. But errors cost points and titles. In the end, it was a fair result. Liverpool fan.

Can you people please stop refering to Liverpool the city when you talk about the football club!! There is another team in the city, they are called Everton and most of the population of Liverpool support them, so stop calling it the 'city' and talk about the club you idiot

If you lose, you lose. MU admitted it then that Milan were stronger. But Liverpool looked awful and still believe it was someone else's fault. Self pity indeed...
