I dunno, but why did Jack tell that other doctor to go upstairs and get his father and if he was less drunk than him, yadda yadda...? On the island he knows his father is dead. He went to Australia to get the body, remember?

Jack wanted to go back to the island because it was Locke's viewing he went to . Locke begged Jack not to answer the phone, that they should all stay on the island. Jack blamed himself for Locke's death, because he did not listen to or believe Locke about needing to stay on the island.

Here is a picture of the obit Jack was carrying. It says they found a man's body. The man's name starts with J. (John Locke)

I'm not sure that Charlie is dead. He may decide at the last minute to swim out the hole, or maybe Desmond will succeed in getting him out of there.

My heart was in my throat when I thought that Sayid, Jin and Bernard were killed. I'm so glad they are alive.

With the flashforward... Jack's dad is dead, notice the "wtf" look on the doctors face when Jack mentions his dad as well as the reaction he had to the pharmacist wanting to call to verify the prescription.

The casket is noone we have met yet. The casket is TOO SHORT to be any adult or Walt that we've met.
