Lie to me. Everyone makes mistakes but a blunt lie there's just no excuse for that.

Well here is a example of someone I would not trust in my home.
A husband was showing me how to tell the difference between one item he had and another, at his house at a get together we were invited too. This item was small and easy to put into ones pocket.
The husband walked off and left this item where it sat (worth fifty to a hundred bucks). The wife walked up and I suggested she best put it up before one of the many people there walk off with it. She said I should have put it in my pocket, she would have. This is stealing to me. I do not steal, but she basically said she does.

If you see a discrepancy, emerging between what people say and what they actually do, they lie, and lies will undermine trust.
When one lies, one uses the humanity of another person as a mere means to an end.
If someone has behaved in a manner that causes you not to trust them, you must eventually give them the opportunity to reestablish the trust.

Most are right a lier is bad ,cheater ,steal, betrayal, trust, backstab if they were true friends they would be there and be absolutly trustworthy because once you have broken that bond it is very difficult to trust that person again hope that helps.

The only thing that would make me stop trusting a person is if they proved themselves unworthy by betraying me somehow or someway. I put a lot of trust into my friends and I am happy to say that most of them still have it to this day. You are trusted by me if you are my friend until you prove otherwise....it's up to you!

Betrayal of Friendship - My analogy is stepping into a batter's box, anticipating pitchers over the plate for practice and having a hard fastball fired at your head.

I'm with the first two people that posted. Lie, cheat and steal. I didn't steal their answer, that was exactly what I was going to post when I first saw the question. I'm glad others also agree.
