I always check them out and if they were answering the same question i was or answered one of mine I feel honored but if I have no idea why they want to be my contact then I get nervous.

It would seem creepy if they just decided to be a fan without reading any of my answers or questions.

Kind of...I haven't accepted any people who have wanted me as a contact. I don't think I will. Most of the guys who are my "fans" have nobody but girls on their list profile thingy and then I know they're just looking for fun. Sorry, I'm not gonna give in.

Bewildering, but usually nice. Only once has a fan acted creepy to me.

The word "Fan" is derived from the word 'fanatic'. Personally I would rather a fan than a stalker!

I think someone who wants to be my stalker would be more creepy.
But it's over now. Phew!

No. It's just a way of saying you like their questions and/or answers. People who make you laugh or give smart remarks make me want to "fan" them.

no - it's only human nature to want to be a fan - if you don't want any stranger to be your fan - just turn that option off in your y!a preference - every easy to do.
