I entered into Sales & Purchase Agreement to sell an apartment. The due date is clearly stated as 25-Mar-2007 or 3 months after signing of S&P on 25Dec2006. Today, the buyer's lawyer calls to inform that the due date is 3 months after developer approval to delay payment and avoid paying interest, can someone advice?

Please visit House Buyers Association of Malaysia. There are a lot of useful information. You can even e-mail to them your question. I did ask a few legal questions by e-mail some time ago and they (all of them are volunteers) replied within few days time.

The Housing Legal Clinic (HLC) under the Ministry of Housing and Local Goverment was established with the objective to provide advice and help solve the problems faced by homebuyers against housing developers. Preference will be given to those who cannot afford legal advice or counsel.

Since you are the SELLER, I would ask the SELLER'S Realtor and the SELLER'S attorney.
