Come on? that last song they gave him, it wasn't his genre or even his type of music. That song seemed customed made for Jordin, everyone could see that Blake wasn't comfortable singin it. They should have choose a better song for the final, something that suited both.

Well, thats just what i think.

Blake can't sing. Beat boxing is not a talent that can sustain any artist very long. Although it seems like more of a popularity contest, more than an actual singing competition, it is a singing competition nonetheless, so how could Blake actually win for singing? I personally didn't care for either one of them, but if I had to choose, it would have to be for the one that can hold a note.

American Idol just lets viewers think they are in charge of deciding who wins, but I really think they pick who they want and I believe they already had it in their minds to let Jordin win, regardless of how many votes Blake may have.

You people are such whiners. What? Were they supposed to have Jordin do a beatbox song just because Blake does it??? IT'S A FREAKIN SINGING COMPETITION!!!!!!!!

And no it was not fixed!!! It was agreed a long time ago that the final song would be chosen by America in the songwriter's contest. That's where the winning song came from. That last song was NOT why Jordin won. She won because she's the much better singer. Period.

I think Jordin had the best voice, but you are right it was not fair to Blake. The American Idol people probably figured Jordin would sell more albums and that would be more money for them. I think they get a percentage of sales for a period of time.

You neglect to mention how many freakin' times Doolittle climbed on stage tonight, singing with celebrities, when her butt got the boot a week ago.

Seems to me that Idol wanted to get her as much camera time as possible, because they want to promote HER.

The whole show has an agenda. I dig Blake, but you have to admit if you're going by singing alone, Jordin is a power house. Although to be honest, I won't buy either of their CD's. I'm a Daughtry fan myself.

If you think America chooses then you're more gullible than I am. Blake's numbers were busy all night last night, Jordin's was NOT, i tried for over two hours to vote for Blake but that should've proven to me that he would lose

think of approximately your popular nicely-commonplace singers. have they have been given super voices or have they have been given a special sound and action picture star high quality character. i'm going to guess if a lot of them went on American Idol they may be boo'd by way of judges! Yo, Rod ...Steward, toddler, you sound somewhat nasal there!
