i need some info on saftey gates for the top om my stairs. i tried to look some up on the internet and they are all tention gates i was looking for the kind i can install. if you guys know of any or a web site i can check out it would be appriciated

This is the gate i have except i bought it at kmart..also cheaper there than it is on this site.Its wonderful!especially for stairs,i have one outside blocking the stairs on our porch,and the inside stairs.Its wonderful for pets also:)

try searching for "hardware mounted gates" or "stairway baby gates" when searching. This should give you some better results.

last time I went to Walmart they had one for like 30 bucks. Sturdy and the latch kind. I know the tension one eventually give out.

It is hooked to eyelet screws that you secure to studs in the wall and is inexpensive
