If you're trying to sleep, try classical, it's relaxing. If not, how about going online and looking for a radio station in another state that plays the kind of music you like and that you can listen to online? I'm listening to an alternative station out of Georgia (99x) right now, and it's kind of fun to hear what songs are played more often there. And, you get to hear different commercials, which is a little better than the same ones over and over.

It does depend on your mood. I'll take jazz, classic R&B or blues myself.
