Size 1 goes up to 14 lbs, so its quite likely that you'll go through them all. Of course, depends on the size of your baby. My 6 month old just went for a well baby check today so I have a growth chart right in front of me. 14 lbs is just about the 50% for a 4 month old baby. I'd suggest that if they're different brands, you use the ones that don't have stretchy sides first (Luvs don't) and save any that do have stretchy sides for when the baby is nearing the weight limit (Pampers, Huggies). If you do have any unopened packages left, most stores will let you exchange without a receipt.

Newborns go through 8 - 10 diapers a day. So that's about 6 weeks worth of diapers. If I were you, I would save any gift receipts you might have for those, because you might need to exchange a pack or two for size 2. Walmart will exchange practically anything, if you can, exchange them there.

And keep in mind that a lot depends on your baby's birth weight. If baby is around 6 pounds at birth, he'll be wearing those size 1 diapers for a longer time. But my girls were 9lbs9oz and 9lbs12oz, and they outgrew them pretty fast.

Ask your mom if she had bigger babies or smaller babies, you'll probably be similar. And let people know that you're set for size 1, and change your registry to size 2.

My baby just turned 2 months and we went through a box from costco that contained 3 packs of size 1 diapers. We are going to purchase another box as well. You should be fine, if not need more depending on how your baby grows. Otherwise, just hold onto the left overs and give them to a friend/coworker with a baby when your baby out grows them.

Ive had 4 babies and many grandbabies. You will go through 60-70 diapers a week if baby is breastfed as their stool is more often and looser, and a little less if bottle fed.So thats a pack a week. Sometimes you will go through more, depends on if baby is fed alot or not. This estimate is about what is usually recommended by doctors and parents.Your baby isnt going to need a different size til 4-5 months old at least. So the answer is absolutely!

Maybe... all mine grew out of a size 1 pretty quickly (they were average sized babies at birth). If you can exchange some of them for the next size up, it would be a good idea to have some size 2 on hand. If you don't go through them, and you can't take them back, just pass them on/regift them. You can't go wrong with diapers.

Size 4 seemed to be the size that all my kiddos stayed in the longest and I needed the most of.

I would think that depends on the size of the baby.My son was born at 7lbs 4 oz and was able to go through about that,if not more before going into size 2.He was also in newborn until he was about 3months.If your baby doesnt use them all, take them back and exchange them. Most stores allow you to do this.

It honestly depends on how small your child is when born and how fast they grow. My son was in size one until he was almost 4 months old, hes only in size 2 now and 6 months old. So its a good possibility that you can go through that many before they grow out of them...we went through TONS.

Trust me that's no problem at all. Newborns go through 6 to 8 a day and that gets to be more as they grow.
