While I wouldn't say I stop feeling I certainly start to feel differently. Of course it depends on what the person was deceiving me about as well. Usually I can look past it if it is not to serious and the person understands my feelings about the whole thing. But of course trust is lost and must be rebuilt and it will be hard to rebuild as well.

I feel deceived but then I shut off my emotions and just don't give a S**T anymore. No matter how hard they try to say it wasn't on purpose.... Talk to the hand....

I have felt numb at first due to the overall shock of it, but after awhile I learn to accept it in a cautious manner. I guess in time it becomes one of those lessons in life that we hope will never happen again.

No but I walk away and don't look back. While in my head I know it is their loss my heart feels like it is being torn out all over again.

No, I don't think you lose feeling but I think you have a hard time trusting in someone again, at least I do.

Yeah and I don't want to stop feeling....makes me think of that song, 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails.....it's scary to think that I could stop feeling altogether.....
