They are launching a camera filled space probe next year, so that we can 'google search' the planets and stars, way beyond even the Hubble Space Craft now. The news I saw said it would be like looking at Google Earth, but in outer space, starting in 2015. I'm so excited, and lucky I'm only 55 years old, so I will most likely still be alive when this happens. My family lives to their '90's. I can't wait till this happens.

Wow. I didn't hear about that. But that is definitely awesome. :) Now I have something to be excited about! Sure, I'm only 23 years old, so I'll probably live to see men and women walk on Mars, but that's gonna be such a long time from now. This is less than ten years away. I really hope the project succeeds. Maybe it'll also get more people excited about space exploration, too. :3 Thanks for the news!

I use Google Earth almost daily and have wondered why they don't have a Google Mars or Google Moon. They have a webpage for this already but it's not like the Google Earth program.

Anyway...what you just posted goes way beyond that. I can't wait!

Good for you that you could be so excited about this. I am still amazed by all the cool stuff you can do with Google Earth and I agree that it sounds pretty cool.
