I watched some of tonights final episode of Lost and missed alot of it. Who was on the abituary that makes Jack upset? Did they say? Does anyone know?

I say it is Sawyer. His real name is James Ford. Sawyer was a criminal, a con man before he came to the island. He had no friends, no family, nobody. He obviously must to have did smething to Kate becuase she didn't want to go to his viewing.

They don't say. Some say Ben, some say Locke, some say Juliet, I think the only one that can make Jack that upset is Juliet.
Edit--I got this link a little while later. Now that I think about it, Lock makes sense too. The article says a man's body was found. and the name starts with J. The reason Jack was so upset, At the end of tonight's episode, John Locke begged Jack not to answer that phone. They should not leave the island. Jack said to Kate that they needed to go back to the island. That they should not have left.

I don't know --- it confused me too --- maybe there's an episode recap somewhere -- brb -- http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tv/1401AP_TV_Finale_Lost.html The scenes focused on Jack, in miserable shape in Los Angeles. A lost soul, he was drunk and drugged out, barely able to function. When his eye fell on a newspaper story that reported someone's death (just who, the viewer didn't learn), he was nearly driven to suicide.

I think john, cause Jack told the funeral director he wasn't a friend or family, and I think Juliet would have at least been a friend, but John, there is hostile feelings there.

You can tell from the image capture that it is the body of J... so it could be Juliette, John Locke, or even James Ford (sawyer)

Why would he have expected Kate to go to Julliettes viewing. She would have had friends or family there. It had to be Locke or Ben.

I think the casket is noone we've met yet. It is too short for it to be any adult on the island. It is also too short to be Walts casket.
