Is it time to upgrade my video card, its 9800 pro? I can still play Company of Heroes on low settings fine, and other new games like Need For Speed Carbon,Half Life2. Oh yeah I have a question why does it start to lag pretty bad when I load a big map in Company of Heroes? Is it because I have only 512mb system ram or because 128mb video ram?

The card is old. Playing on low settings is not that great. Higher settings is alot better (very pretty!). Even the low-end cards of today are far better now.

As for the load time, that will be system memory. 1gb is minimum really, 2gb is recommended. It affects the video memory when running at a high resolution and has alot of textures to load (too much for the video card). Most games are up to 256mb being used running a 1024 by 768 resolution. Higher the resolution, the more video memory it needs.

That's still a pretty decent AGP card. You could squeeze out some more performance from it through overclocking. You can also improve overall system performance by increasing RAM to 1Gb.
