I've played ball all my life... I've been thru the Jordan era...but now.... Stern's turning this league into some ol' slave sh!t with his "dress codes" for marketing to well to do whites and tyrannical "laws"...... it's all a joke and ruins the "spirit of the game", p.s. for all the suns critics, I didn't see tim duncan volunteer to sit out game 5.... no respect for the spurs, they would've lost.. too bad stern prevented us seeing that... anyways im all done with this league... it's more marketed for upper crusty white folks anyways...
peace

No fans will keep coming back except a few casual type folks. Besides what professional league doesn't have issues. I guess golf and Tennis. Memphis and Boston had bad luck. I don't believe they were robbed intentionally. As for the Suns they just did what they always do except this time they did it creatively. I am sorry that Amare and Diaw missed that game but its not like it was the very first time it has happened. Also had they not been suspended that would have been a 1st for that infraction. Maybe next year.

"Is Sterns NBA losing fans faster than Michael Richards doing stand up?"
No. In fact he gained quite a few. Having both NW markets (and smaller markets than most, I might add) win the top 2 picks proves the lottery wasn't rigged.
"Memphis and Boston were robbed and Phoenix was just plain $hit on."
Oh grow up. Someone call this guy a whaaaaaaaaaabulance.

Yes Boston was robbed, im from boston...the East really needed these players, and boston really need oden, why isnt the lottery balls picked live? for the world to see, why is it done behind closed doors? its prob been rigged for years, and they picked this yr to switch it up. Stern sucks anyways, with all these new rules hes putting in, like dress code, the new ball that sucked, the new foul rules which resulted in an absurb amount of technicals, and finally we see some physical play , like basketball of the 70s and 80s and ppl are getting fined. i dont know about you but it just shows the emotions of the players and it gets the fans fired up, but stern is fining them and trying to make the NBA somthing its not. after all its a game, the best game on the planet!

The problem with the league is on Stern's shoulders, but I say nothing wrong with a hard foul here and there, but if a market star gets hurt, then that's what Stern see as a problem, that's why he makes the rules the way he does. Yeah I agree with a semi dress code, not look all tacky and have your pants off your ***, but if you wanna wear jeans and a Julius Erving throwback, I see nothing wrong with that, that's still promoting the league. But as we all know, sports isn't the same anymore, its a billion dollar business, and you have to have your business looking nice to sale its products. As for the Suns, the y knew the rules, yeah when your main star go down, first thing you do is run to their aid, but you can't do that anymore. IMO there is too much favoritism, everyone looking for the next Magic, the next Bird, and the Next Jordan, but now its a new era of basketball, you wont see those type of players anymore.

Isn't it amazing how nobody ever just loses any more? They have to be robbed or $hit on--according to Suns fans, anyway. Grow up. This argument was last week.
