I spend much of my time in Yahoo Products and deal with soooo many people complaining about others that can't spell, use proper grammer, etc. I'm going crazy with them I'm sending them over to Polls and Surveys.

People are dumb. They don't place their questions in the correct categories, they don't use the free albeit imperfect spell checker, and there are many that have nothing better to do than give wisea$$ remarks instead of trying to be helpful. That said, I think there are enough people who try to give informative, thoughtful answers and if you're lucky enough to get the answers you sought then of course it was worth it. Never give up hope that someone, a complete stranger from who knows where, will come through for you. ;-) Perfection? No, but really now!

The ego always seeks perfection. If you are after money, the ego wants you to be the richest man in the world, the most perfect man in the world. If you are after morality, you want to become the most perfect saint. The ego has a very very deep desire to be perfect. All egoists are perfectionists, and all perfectionists are neurotic. The idea of perfection drives people mad. A humble person know imperfections, and a humble person accepts his imperfections. And a humble person does not ask for the impossible. It is the ego that always asks for the impossible and fails. And feels frustrated, betrayed, cheated.

For those seeking perfection, they should seek the men with the white jackets with silver buckles along the back. If we achieved perfection what would be left to strive for?

Wow! This is a first. Nobody has yet shown up advising to seek Jesus for perfection! But I imagine if you send it to polls and surveys there will be. Oh, and by the way, I'm a Christian, so no stupid, nasty, emails telling me I better find Jesus, please.

Yes. There are so many people that complain about grammatical errors, not understanding that YA! is international and people come from all over.

I don't think being able to spell properly or to have the brain to use the spell check is considered striving for perfection.......

i agree
for some
this is just a glorified chat space
i love it when someone asks/answers intelligently
and it's ok to have fun
but after 400 "what's the name of this song?"
i'd rather play solitare with my screen off
