Instead of the whys & hows & whens she was taken, can't we focus on ways the abductor can return her. With all the hype, he being totally sick (literally), must be totally freaking out now & even if he wants to return her may be too panicked to know how. Can someone suggest what would be the safest way Madeline / any missing child can be returned? Can he just call & leave an address. He would be apprehensive about being traced so we need to point out a way to him just to get her back. Dealing with him can be focussed on later. Abductors need to know that parents will want their precious children back no matter what.

Too late. Bin Laden bought her and she is in the process of being brain washed. Nobody knows why brain washing is needed for someone destined to be in his harem, though.

Whilst everybody including me would like her to returned safe & sound , I fear now that it has gone on far too long and her name is known globally that the abductors / kidnappers may have panicked and done her some harm possibly fatal , I say possibly because I still have the 1% of hope , But the other 99% of me says it's just too late . It's a very sad situation and I accept what you say about returning her , But really do you believe that someone as cold calculated and callous enough to abduct a child will have the decency to drop her off at a location and then alert the authorities . I don't think so , It's a nice thought and maybe it might work/happen in a perfect world , But what we live in is not a perfect world .

On the other hand you could say the parents were involved but that's another question .

Time - Time is a great thing , Time always tells the truth and the truth will always prevail . In the case of missing Madeline Mccann time is the only thing we now have on our side and I wish it would hurry up so this sad case can be resolved .

What's worse that knowing the truth ? ............Not knowing the truth .

You refer to the abductor as a "he" , Am I missing something or is there no woman on the planet capable of such a crime ?

That is a good idea, and I've thought of that myself, it works for dogs and cats why wouldn't it for children who are taken by people who haven't hurt them.

In my mind if you can get a kid back even if you have to do tons more work finding the guy then why not?

I'm sure if the idea was given to churches or temples those sorts of things it might work, but then again sometimes the police focus more on getting the guy in over makeing sure the victim is safe, both are important but the kid being safe is more important then catching the sick-o who took them.

he could leave her in a church, call someone tell them where she is, he cant leave her any where the police tell him they will be there in their thousands to catch him,
