You could have a QB with Vick's athleticism, Marino's defensive read, Montana's leadership, and Favre's enthusiasm all rolled together. But if that dream QB doesn't have the personal around him, it's meaningless.
I think Young is decent enough. The real question is, will the Titans fill in the missing pieces in five years? The Titans have got big question marks at running back, offensive line, receivers and secondary.
Even though the Titans have a lot of cap room to make some big free agent moves, and though they will very likely rise back into playoff calibre, I seriously doubt a Superbowl win in five years will happen. Not impossible, but very unlikely. Over five years, I'd give them 20 to 1 odds against.

You terrific have self assurance it i'm leaping on the Titans bandwagon suited now. they gained't in basic terms make the playoffs yet win the AFC south. i do no longer care on the subject of the Indianapolis Colts prevailing the super Bowl, they are over the cap and somebody has to pass. The Titans had the terrific record in the AFC south against there fighters, they went 4-2 and beat the Colts. they have Vince youthful, Pacman Jones, Chris desire, Keith Bulluck, Travis Henry, and David Thorton. they are gonna have yet another stable draft this year and Vince youthful gets extra valuable. look out Peyton you may desire to no longer be the famous individual of Tennessee a lot longer.

Vince Young has proven many people wrong, but the lack of talent around him and the losses of Bennett and Pacman to suspension will hurt the Titans organization, so unless some drastic changes are made, the chance for a super bowl seems unlikely.

We heard the same hype from Atlanta a few ago with Vick. Titans need to do a better job of building a good team around Young than the Falcons did around Vick because I can guarantee you that Young is not that good and he'll never carry that team anywhere on his own.

in the next five years? they may address many problems they have now, and Vince Young is a guy that has won NCAA Championship, by putting his team on his back and carried them to victory. And 2 or 3 times last year, did the same thing.
In this day in age, teams stand up ever year and have a chances. So yes it can happen in the next five years. but not this one. too many holes to fill.

I'd be amazed if they even made the superbowl in the next five years. I think there's a guy named Dan Marino who can tell you that you need more than a QB to make it to the big dance.

And I have two more words - No Receivers. If they get him someone to throw to and improve that porous defense then they have a CHANCE. But as much as I love VY, he has a long season ahead of him with no blockers and no receivers. Perhaps he should just throw the ball to himself.
