When I have problems, I tell everyone: the lady at the cash register, the person sitting next to me on the bus, my classmates.

I try to not vent my problems out on others, so I bottle things up, and then I get upset and stressed and snap, like you said. But I try not to do that. I usually vent my problems out in online journals where friends can read it, and others can, and I can get suggestions and help with my problems. It really helps to vent to a journal... I know it sounds weird, but it really helps.

Yes, I have and I am blessed with very good friends.. I have a very few that I trust to vent my problems to.
It is better to have a good friend that you can talk to or else you end up sitting at a doctor's office talking about other deeper problems.. A lot of illness get started by the bottling up of emotions and feelings and letting them brew inside like a poison in your heart, body and soul.. Doctors, have discovered evidences that link many illness such as arthritis, cancer, diabetics, Stress, high-blood pressure, psoriasis, and many others to emotional stress and anxiety bottled up inside.

Not a guy but I'd say, don't do it. My husband did this years ago to my best friend to try to see if I was cheating on him (I wasn't) she of course told me and then I told my husband (albeit angrily). If you have a problem with your wife, you shouldn't rag on her to her friends, your friends or your family. Talk to her or a counselor or priest... someone with no investment or bias in your relationship. This goes for wives too. It's very dishonoring to badmouth, criticize or vent about your spouse to anyone else other than a professional third-party.

i snapped today. at a coworker/almost friend that i always use to hang out with.

quite frankly, her attitude towards things and towards me has been bugging me for weeks. she's so used to getting her way that she mistakes "getting along" for a "yes-step-on-me-i'm-a-doormat".

i was possibly very tired when i snapped but the real reason is that she has gotten used to a myriad favors and always having a person who stoically lets her brag-brag-brag/show her insecurities all day, all week, all month long.

of course, things will be ugly at first. but hey, she had it coming.

obviously, i bottle things up until, well, they explode.

Of course I always vent but my boyfriend is a bottler and then snaps... I cannot stand it nor do I understand why anyone would want to hold it in...Let it out and then you dont have to hold any hostility or guilt cause that feels terrible

Yep!

Actually I have this condition, so whenever I get too excited or stressed I tend to pass out.

Because of this I try my hardest to hide me emotions but that just makes it worse so when I do end up snapping I end up on the ground.

Silly huh? ^__^;

I used to quite a bit, had a couple of friends that would wait and throw it back in my face, so now I kinda bottle it up or am careful who I vent to.

Best friend - she's for venting. We both do it and it really helps. Nothing worse than bottling it up - what an explosion that would be.

My friends let me vent whenever I need to let it out. Then in return I let them vent. Afterwards, we all feel better having saved lives.
